Got some burning questions about the photography and videography process? Here’s a list of questions we frequently get asked. If you can’t find the answer to your query on this page, we would love to hear from you so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
How much is your booking fee?
The booking fee consists of a non-refundable 20% deposit. The second payment of 30% is due 6 months out and the remaining 50% is due 14 days before the wedding.
When is it due?
We recommend that your deposit be paid as soon as possible in order for us to lock in your special wedding date, ideally within 7 days. As we do get quite a few enquiries over the peak season for particular weekends, we’d hate to miss out on working together. Once your deposit is paid, your date is secured!
Do you offer instalments?
Yes, absolutely! Get in touch to find out more and to arrange a payment plan.
How do you accept payments?
Payments can be made via bank transfer (details will be included on your invoice).
Do you charge for date and location changes?
As long as the new location is within a reasonable distance, there is no fee for location changes. Info for date changes is covered in our terms and conditions, please send us an email to view our T’s & C’s!
Are you vaccinated?
Yes, we are fully vaccinated.
Where are you based? Do you travel?
We are based in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Australia but we absolutely love to travel and frequently service weddings all around South East Queensland and Northern NSW as well as all around Australia.
We are now available worldwide and have weddings booked all over Australia as well as New Zealand, Italy, Greece and more!
What if it rains?
If you’re up for recreating that famous, romantic scene from The Notebook, then we are too! We will come as prepared as possible and although it may not be your ideal weather, we will make sure nothing gets in the way of making your big day (and your photos) extra special. Lovely clear or white bridal umbrellas come in handy when mother nature decides to make an unexpected appearance. Alternatively, we will scout for some stunning undercover areas to take you!
How long before we receive our photos/videos?
Our current turnaround time is about 8 - 12 weeks from the wedding day.
Will we also receive the RAW images?
To put it simply, no. When you hire us, you are hiring our style and trust us to bring our own creative interpretation to your special day. The editing process is equally important as the photo-taking itself. To get a feel for our editing style, please take a look at our portfolio here.
Help! We’re not used to posing and feel awkward in front of the camera!
The last thing we want is for you and your partner to feel stressed and anxious on your big day - especially when it comes to your portrait session! We take a unique approach with how we interact with you on the day as we place a big importance on creating a comfortable and fun atmosphere for you.
Our style then focuses on capturing those genuine, candid moments between you and your partner, we will of course give direction and prompts where needed to make sure you look & feel your best!

That all sounds amazing but we are still a bit nervous, could we do a trial run?
If this is something still worrying you, we highly recommend booking in for an engagement/couple shoot! This will give us a chance to get to know each other and answer any other questions or worries you may have. For some couples, doing an engagement shoot gives them an idea of what to expect on the wedding day and helps put their mind at ease. It’s also a fun way to discover your best angles and poses!
Do we need to feed you?
Yes please! We will be on our feet all day and will need some sustenance to keep those creative juices flowing! Your venue will offer vendor meals so all you need to do is let your coordinator know that we need to eat at the same time as the bridal party and guests as we will need to be available to continue shooting.
How will we receive our photos from you?
You will receive an online gallery link that allows you to download your images directly to your device or computer in both high and low resolution formats. Depending on the package you book, you may also receive a custom box containing prints and a USB.
Do you film the ceremony and speeches?
Yes! We offer both ceremony and speech cuts which are filmed and incorporated into your feature film, but also provided as their own heirloom 20-45 minute unique videos, filmed with multiple cameras and angles which are edited together for you to relive all the moments, from the speaker to you the couple and your guests reactions, the laughs, cries and everything in between!

What is 35mm film?
Film photography uses light-sensitive film in cameras to capture photos — whenever the film is exposed to light, an impression is captured.
Why do we use it? Well, film captures impressive depth and strong details, accentuating beautiful skin tones, grains and colours, which digital photography can’t always replicate. We bring film camera/s on the day and will choose photo opportunities throughout the day to capture on 35mm film.
We get our film rolls developed and scanned, and you get to enjoy the final film image results delivered in your online gallery. It is the perfect way to create extra memories with beautiful, classic photographs that remain nostalgic. The process is incredibly thrilling as we don’t always know exactly how a shot will turn out, but we are sure to make every frame worthwhile.
